Product information "Chocolate cake baking mix"

Ingredients: Dextrose, wheat flour, low-fat cocoa powder, leavening agents (diphosphates, sodium carbonates), salt, natural flavor.

May contain traces of nuts.


Preparation: Baking mix, 90 g butter/margarine, 2 eggs, 100 ml (lactose-free) milk. Loaf pan (approx. 25x11 cm). For the vegan version, omit the eggs and use 200 ml plant-based milk.

Preparation: Grease and flour the loaf pan. Preheat the oven: Top/bottom heat about 180°C, fan about 160°C. Pour the baking mix into a mixing bowl. Add butter/margarine, eggs, and milk/plant drink. Mix everything until smooth.

Baking: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth it out. Place the pan in the middle rack of the oven. Baking time approx. 45 minutes. After 15 minutes of baking, cut the cake about 1 cm deep in the middle with a pointed knife.

Recipe ideas:

Chocolate lovers - Add approx. 120 g grated milk/ dark chocolate.

Spice Cake - Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp orange zest (or flavouring).

Chocolate fruit - Add approx. 120 g frozen cranberries or currants.
