Dextrose
THE ALTERNATIVE TO INDUSTRIAL SUGAR
Immediately gets into the
blood & is easier to digest!
OUR MISSION
We want to inform people about the HEALTHY BENEFITS of living a dextrose-sweetened life! Dextrose is EASIER TO DIGEST compared to industrial sugar containing fructose and therefore a good alternative to eat consciously even when consuming sugar. Nevertheless: dextrose is also sugar and should only be consumed in moderate amounts.
Dextrose IS IMMEDIATELY ABSORBED INTO THE BLOOD!
Dextrose is a simple sugar that is digested WITHOUT DETOURS and without body's own aids such as enzymes and is IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE AS ENERGY.
Industrial sugar, on the other hand, consists of only half glucose. The other half is fructose, which can only be digested by means of the body's own glut-5 enzyme and is then first metabolised by the liver into fat.
On the one hand, this process inevitably STRAINS THE FUNCTION OF THE LIVER, which converts the sugar into fatty acids and (initially) stores them, and on the other hand, if a large amount of sugar is consumed, it leads to an excessive amount of fat being stored in the liver, i.e. to a so-called fatty liver. Even the intake of small amounts of fructose STIMULATES THE FORMATION OF FATTY ACIDS, which DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH the intake of DEXTROSE.
SO WHY DEXTROSE?
Dextrose is a FAST PROVIDER OF ENERGY and - in combination with other carbohydrates from cereals or nuts - also provides LONG-TERM ENERGY when CONCENTRATION and PERFORMANCE are required.
However, even when consuming dextrose, care should be taken to maintain a balance between sugar and other nutrients such as fat, protein and long-chain carbohydrates such as starch (e.g. from wholemeal products).
